Some more pics taken on the same day.
Some more Rainbows caught on the bottom by
putting an half of
a nite crawler on and leaving it dangle. We
caught some gills
on the bottom also doing this. We are using
a circle hook which
they can swallow but only hooks them in the
lip. Just give them
time and don't set the hook right away.
Here is a huge Bluegill caught on the camera
in the background.
You can see the hump above the eyes typical
of large gills.
We trolled around and when we found fish on
the locator we put
in the anchors and usally had action. This
time of year the water
is cooling down and the fish are really slow
feeders and you hardly
see the bite....almost like ice fishing
The lake is turning over right now making
it cloudy and we
could see a lot debri float by the camera.
It is amazing the
amount of currant on the bottom in 30 ft.
of water.
This looks like a nice size Bass going by
with a bluegill in tow.
We saw a lot of Perch go by also but we didn't
have any
minnows with.
Here are a couple of nice Perch swimming by
for a look at the camera.
I had a CD player hooked up to the output
of the Aqua-Vu camera
so that both of us could see what was down
there.
One problem with taking a picture of
an LCD is that when a person
reduces it for web use it pixelates a lot.
