BLUEGILL FACTS
PLEASE RELEASE MOST OF THE LARGE BLUEGILLS THAT YOU CATCH.
RESEARCH HAS FOUND THAT THESE BLUEGILLS ARE ACTUALLY A LARGER STRAIN OF BLUEGILLS THAT HAS DEVELOPED OVER
MANY YEARS DUE TO THE BREEDING HABITS OF BLUEGILLS. iF YOU REMOVE TOO MANY OF THE BIG BLUEGILLS, THE SMALLER
STRAIN MALES WILL DOMINATE AND SPAWN A SMALLER SPECIES AND YOU WILL ONLY HAVE SMALL GILLS  LEFT TO CATCH.
THE LARGE BLUEGILLS WILL BE GONE FOR MANY MANY YEARS UNTIL THE NEXT LARGE STRAIN EVOLVES.
iT HAS BEEN SAID THAT YOU CAN'T OVER FISH A LAKE OF BLUEGILLS......WRONG THE FACTS SHOW OTHERWISE.

Here is a decent bass and his buddy inspecting the bait. I would
strongly recommend the use of a good flasher unit or Underwater
video camera to supplement your hard water fishing techniques.
