FISHING A PRIVATE LAKE IN THE
U.P.
It's
been pretty hot up for the last 4 days (90's) and we
didn't
get out today but we did yesterday early
before
it was too hot to sit in the boat. We had a
ball
as the Gills were just starting to build their
nests
and were quite active. Donna was fishing
with
a slip Bobber and a small ice jig with a piece
of
worm on it. I was using a Rebel Crawdad and
I
was slaying them. I hated to do it but I outfished
her
2-1 in size and quanity. I have some pics below
to
show you what we caught. We released all of the
fish
because I really don't like keeping any when they
are
spawning.
