This
is a Genuine JTL as appraised by a registered AFBVM
Luthier.He stated it is still in it's original condition and in is lot
better condition them most violins of that age.You will notice the aging
marks put in by JTL to simulate age & repairs. These are on the bottom
and top and on the neck.

According
to the Curator of this Museum this violin appears to be similar to the
JTL "copie de" Amati that is in their collection there. The labels on the
inside of both violins are identical to each other. The violin in the
museum is a medium grade JTL violin.
